This is a great concealed carry gun. A good size, light weight and plenty of ammo. The manufacturers warranty and support from SCCY is the best. I want to thank Buds Gun Shop for all the help and support.

Wanted a small DAO or DA/SA 9mm for my appendix/pocket carry…..saw the torture test by iraqveteran888 and was convinced of it’s simplicity and durability. I installed the Mcarbo spring, trigger and recoil spring kit, and it made it awsome. It’s soft and smooth and easy to shoot well…..the factory trigger weight is heavy but very smooth, but the recoil on it is pretty snappy, so the Mcarbo recoil spring helped. No reliability issues of any kind. It’s a very simple design/mechanism, works great, i have no fear with it on my appendix holster or in my pocket, something i couldn’t say with either my Glocks or my Walther trigger systems. I have extra large hands and it barely fits me. I have to use the pad of my finger, it’s too far for the first Crease of my finger, which is my preferred trigger placement on revolvers and double action mechanisms. So have that in mind when buying it. The Gen3 models address that with a new slimmer frame. Very happy with my purchase.

Nothing against the gun, but unfortunately BUDS is never ANY help receiving a refund via Norton shopping Guarantee when their items are cheaper on their website the next day..

UNRELIABLE
Problem after problem. I wanted to like this pistol. It's the right size, weight, hammer fired.
Problem 1 - Magazine, sharp edges that grab the casing and failure to feed. SCCY sent me a new recoil spring. Factory sent me 2 mags. Better but not great. Sent in for service. After it came back, Lightly sanded edges of the feed lip on mags and seemed to now feed properly.
Problem 2 - Gun would jam, failure to feed, due to sharp edge inside barrel. Barrel would gouge into copper jacket on the bullet, preventing the round from feeding. SCCY sent me a new barrel, which seem to fix the gouging issue.
Problem 2 - Slide locks open multiple times, with rounds still in the magazine. Back to service.
Can not trust this firearm enough to carry it.
