Wonderful gun. The innovation and smooth operation is excellent. The trigger is amazing with short travel distance, light, crisp break, and short reset. The trigger alone is worth getting POF over others. Accuracy is excellent right out of the box and having ability to adjust gas system is a big plus compared to other brands. You won't be disappointed with this gun.

I had been eyeing the POF rifles for quite some time when I picked this up. I shoot pistols primarily, but I wanted at least one 16 inch rifle in 556 for competition, one 11.5 inch in 556 for home defense, and one 308 for long-distance shooting. For my 308, I went with the legendary Knight's Armament rifle, and grabbed a Daniel Defense for the 11.5 incher. All of these are higher-end guns, to be sure, but since I didn't plan on buying a great deal of rifles, I wanted to buy extremely high quality weapons in each case. With both the Knight's and the Daniel Defense already in my possession, the bar was set very high.
When a buddy of mine called and had just picked up a POF of his own, this exact model in fact, I jumped at the chance to test it out and we went to the range. With the other two rifles in my stable already, I knew it would take a great deal to impress me, but this rifle did exactly that! Every component on the gun is superb quality, and although I had originally intended to go with a different butt-stock, this one really grew on me and I am going to keep it. Controls and ergos are excellent, just as you'd expect for an AR-style rifle. The handguards are awesome looking, and the fit and finish on the rifle is just amazing. Absolutely meticulous in every way.
The only thing I can think to complain about is that it only came with one magazine, and it was from a manufacturer I hadn't even heard of. But this is a small grip considering how cheap high quality AR mags are. I took mine out to the range and put several hundred rounds through it without any problems. Now I'm in that agonizing period where I am waiting for all of my accessories and components to come in so I can get them on there. Eotech for optics, Surefire for illumination and suppression. Should be a great package! You won't be disappointed with this rifle, and it is truly as functional as it is beautiful, and I'd put it on par with DD or Knight's.

IT...IS...NICE!. I own both the POF wonder and this renegade plus. the wonder is a nice rifle but this one certainly takes it to the next level. I'd put this with a Dd v7 or any top quality AR. I have not been able to shoot it yet with all this covid stuff going on, but the quality of the build is just fantastic. Attention to detail is obviously a priority. I have no doubt this gun will be more capable than I am as a shooter.
If i had one criticism I would say the gun should come with 2 magazines and some type of irons. The little extra in price would be ok and its just something I wish more companies would do.
One more note, the wonder cost a good deal less and came in a hard case. The renegade comes in cardboard.
So basically the price you pay is 100% in the gun. Youre not paying for accessories.

This is such a sweet rifle. It looks and feels so good. It breaks down easily, has keen balance and super, well-made components. It's hard to think of owning anything else. This piece is excellent right out of the box, stripped down and ready to add any of my favorite accessories. I'll add more later as I get it broken in.

Very happy with the gun. Some features I didn't quite appreciate until I received the gun are the ability to put the gun on safety or eject the magazine from either side, the scalloped rest for my trigger finger, adjustable gas block for when I decided to put a silencer on it, the 4 different locations for my quick disconnect strap, and last but certainly not least, the weight. This gun is incredibly light which makes it handy for packing on long walks to coyote sets. I also like that the 30 round magazine it comes with is plastic instead of metal. I find the plastic magazine helps keep the weight low and lessens the chance of bullet damage compared to a metal magazine. Beautiful muzzle brake also! Oh, and don't let me forget the trigger. Very happy with the trigger this comes with. Saves me _$125 on getting one to replace the standard MIL spec ones that usually comes stock. 100% love my choice of the POF Renegade PLUS.

Couldn’t be happier with my new Pof Renegade plus rifle. This rifle is definitely a top tier factory AR. The fit and finish is second to none and the features offered on this rifle far exceed what other manufacturers are offering. Billet ambi lower, 3.5 lb trigger, KNS anti walk pins, receiver tension screws, battery assist, ambi charging handle, Anti tilt buffer, E squared extraction technology, one piece NP3 coated bolt carrier with roller cam pin, 9 position adjustable low profile gas block, heat sink barrel nut, triple port muzzle brake, nitride heat treated fluted barrel, 15” M-LOK free float rail. Badass gun. Out of the box I threw some Larue Troy industry iron sight on her. She runs like a champ the heat sink barrel nut is awesome. You can tell upper receiver is cold to the touch after running her hard. Awesome gun awesome technolgry for an ar. Buds keep up the good work. I've heard some bad things lately about buds I've never had a problem and will continue business until I experience for myself. Love the renegade so much I built a pistol version that runs just as good. About the get the pof revolt as well. Love that straight pull bolt got to get it.
