  Joseph, yes sir, these will work great in a Kimber 1911. I've shot plenty of Winchester in all sorts of calibers and firearms, including 1911s and it's always reliable. Hope this helps.

  Large pistol primers, Boxer type. The Winchester white box used small primers for 45acp in the past, but all the new ones I've bought now use the large pistol primers. I don't know what year they switched, but it is now large pistol primers in the 230grain Winchester White Box 45autos.
