I should have done a better job researching before I purchased it. The wood handle makes the pistol seem thicker and heavier than I had anticipated. It has been a while since I owned a wood gripped pistol. Very pretty and likely besides being heavy, very easily scarred. Definitely a range only pistol, or maybe a safe inhabitant. Not Sig's fault that I made a poor decision. I wish I had chosen more wisely.
