Gave it a pre-shoot clean and lube. Put 150 rounds through with no problems using cci mini mags. Love this pistol!!

Fired this weapon only once. It started to stove pipe and failure to eject only after 20 rounds. Yes, the Chiappa was only $185, but I thought it might give me a couple good years. I heard negative reviews online about this Chiappa .22 LR but I know with all guns, some are good and some are bad. I will not send this back to the manufacturer for repairs, because I heard they do nothing. I might try a local gunsmith and see what he can do. This is a beautiful looking gun though. Too bad it does not work. Also, the shell casings are severely dimpled. Not a good sign.

had gun for six months I cannot say how it shoots or fires the double action failed after a few times of testing it tried to by a new TWO DOLLAR SPRING BUT WILL NOT SELL TO ME UNLESS I HALVE A FFL LICIENS will cost almost 1/4 of gun shipping for warranty and may not get back for months I can part it out and get most money back on ebay poor investment

I have just ordered a SECOND ONE OF THESE. My first has a smooth, soft trigger (maybe 3#) and a consistent point of impact. I've put 300rds of Remington through it without a hiccup. Not content with the two factory grips, in attempting to modify Beretta grips to fit, but cycling the slide along the way, a small spring, (the Trigger Bar Spring) fell out. Yup. To the bench top. Now the trigger does not function. Chiappa sent me a mailing label, and the little guy is off to Dayton. In spite of this glitch, I loved to shoot the gun, while it was working. Note that I have ordered ANOTHER one -- that sums up how I rate it. So far, Chiappa is A-1 in response. Stuff happens. It's how we respond that describes our worth. By the way, I'm retired military, and this new Chiappa will be my 15th gun.

Great .22. Perfect for training for my beretta. Feel and take down are the same. Gun does need to put some higher velocity rounds through it to open up as stated from the manufacture. Wood grips are a bit wide but great feel either way. I put around 300 cci mini mags through it and it loosened up greatly. Finish is not anything like the beretta just a flat black that can mark easily. But that doesnt matter to me but for those that do beware. Pretty accurate shot well right out of the box. Cant beat it for the price, great buy and great service from buds as always.
