Magpul MAG317-BLK Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad 0.70" Black

A must have if you are an average size man! Smaller women don't have the problem this Enhanced/Extended Pad Cures! This pad is just thick enough to greatly improve your Length of Pull fitment! It really makes a huge difference! You see most AR15-10 rifles come with a Mil Spec stock and pad... probably because soilders are carrying many items on their backs with the shoulder strap making up the extra length for the Stock, which would increase their Length of Pull fitment! I buy these for every AR rifle I own. Hopefully one day Magpul will produce one of these that adds 1" to the Stock Length.

This a good addition to have on your CTR stock as it provides more cushioning whether you using it on 5.56/.223 cal rifles or 7.62. A big difference is noticeable with addition to the stock. I've used these now and in the past. It's A worth while upgrade.

Fit right on my STR series Magpul butt stock as stated. But, the rubber is hard despite it being thicker. I thought it would provide some additional cushion due to the extra thickness, but the durometer/hardness of it consists of barely able to press your fingernail into it. Provides zero extra cushion in case anyone was looking to add some comfort to their firearm

Magpul = quality. Top of the line fit, form, function. With the AR's comparatively low recoil, always fun to shot. Toss in this pad? Becomes a true pleasure to shoot all day.

Nice replacement butt-pad. I originally bought this as one of many parts to reduce felt recoil on my kids AR (doubt it made much difference), but ended up liking the pads fit and feel and have since installed them on all my AR's.

Adds that little bit of extra comfort for recoil absorption. Perfect for long range sessions. Buds was fast and smooth.

This adds just a little more pull and a bit of extra weight to improve the overall balance of the rifle, however the difference is really very slight. It would have been nice if Magpul made this an option when ordering the butt stock, instead of an extra item, so the cost would be less and you wouldn't have to be stuck with the unwanted slightly thinner standard rubber butt plate that comes with it.
