I can't see any difference between these and the M855 military rounds. It's annealed the same, and they fire the same. My POI doesn't change, these are good rounds.

The military standard. Good enough for Uncle Sam, good enough for me. Uncle Sam probably pays more for them than you will with Bud's.

I've done a lot of plinking with these rounds and they have gone boom every time. I shoot them in a Mossberg MMR with a 1/8 twist. They are very accurate and consistent in this rifle. I use this round because I have found a second round for hunting that matches the ballistics perfectly. They are Frontier 62 grain soft points. I plink with the cheaper rounds and hunt with the others and I don't have to change scope settings. It's a good round, and price wise seems comparable to the competition.

If you already have the clip adapter for your magazines, this ammo is stellar in quality and ready to be speed loaded.

This ammo has the alleged "penetrator." I bought it because it is heavier than standard ammo. My barrel has a fast twist, supposed to shoot heavy ammo better. This ammo is not "super" accurate, only so-so. Read some where that this is part of the design. The penetrator is supposed to be a little off center so that it will destabilize easier after hitting tissue. Don't know if that is true or not...but it is not as accurate as regular 62 grain ammo. Not "all over," just not really tight groups. Goes bang. Was inexpensive back when I purchased it. Good for "shortage" prevention.

Good price on M855 ammo. Bud's pricing and watching for rebates makes stocking up easy. I like the Federal ammo, feeds well and has never let me down.
