Great stock! I've had it on several Rem700s, to the point it became my go-to. Buds delivered promptly as usual - always my go-to vendor. Never had an unreasonable issue with them!

Great stock. The action goes right in, torque 2 screws and you're done. Plenty wide channel for the barrel for even the biggest bull barrels. Completely free floats.

Shipping was fast and the stock arrived with the Magpul mag well I also ordered. Unfortunately you can’t use the Magpul mag well and this stock with the 700 ADL stock screws. You need a front action screw that is 1/4” longer. No mention of this on any websites or instructions. Most places I looked are out of stock on the screws so I have a new stock, mag well, and magazines sitting here.

Purchased in conjunction with magwell MAG497-BLK for a bolt-action target rifle build based on a stock Remington 700 short action. The action, recoil lug & barrel fit perfectly. The stock is pretty solid and allows the barrel to free float. I had to cut down the bolts which attach the action to the stock as they protruded into the action and obstructed the bolt. I like the ergonomics and balance

This as easy to install and fit my Remington 700P perfectly. After firing over 100 rounds through the weapon, I did a maintenance check on the stock and found it to be perfectly seated with no loose screws or shifting of the stock. I went on to fire another 150 rounds. It dissipated the heat well and felt very comfortable in the shoulder when firing. Well worth the price and money spent! Best of all, Buds had the best price, even better than the PX on base!

Beautiful stock. I have this with a heavy barrel 22-250 and it shoots as good as it looks. The rifle was originally an ADL model so I had to get the detachable magazine system as well. Even though the mag is rated for 308 and similar cartridges, the 22-250 works just fine. This caliber was not listed for compatibility but it worked for me (308, 243, 6.5 creed, and 260 rem). My 700 now has a very sophisticated and tactical look at a surprisingly affordable price. Way to go Magpul and thanks Buds!
