Fine looking firearm. The fit and finish are excellent. Shoots a little low but a little file work will fix that. Deer chest groups at 50 yards. The only issue that I have is with the trigger and trigger guard. Both seem smaller than on my other single actions and they pinch my trigger finger under recoil.

This pietta single action has good timing and sear with full house loads it kicks like a mule, but tbis isnt my first 44 mag and I like to reload and turn down the volume from overkill to manageable. The trigger guard smacks my index finger which hurts and i can't see a way around it. The wooden grip stands proud in the wrong places so I had to do the final fit. This should have been done in the factory before bluing. I also ended up using blue locktite because the screws wprked loose. For some reason the piatol shot way low for both me and my buddy, which could,very well be flinch but it was consistent. I am seriously considering finding this saa a new home and spending the serious money on a stainless ahorter barreled Vaquero All in all I still recommend this gun because you get what you pay for. My biggest complaint was the fit of the grip and i solved that myself.

very nice firearm for the price. fits in your hand very well. blueing is excellent. hammer and cyl. rotation is smooth. be sure and tell sales associate if you want case hardened frame or blued frame.

Solid construction. Functions excellently. Beautiful finish. Easy to shoot.
