I purchased this 380 for my personal protection. The only pistol I have shot before was a 9mm, which I shot just once. It kicked more than I was comfortable with. My husband suggested a 380. I fell in love with this handsome little Ruger. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy this gun. The first time I shot it I was shooting a little low. The second time I took it out I had a cluster of 6 out of 8 dead center of my target. It doesn't kick much at all and is really accurate. I would suggest this gun to any woman who may be uncomfortable with heavy, bulky, higher caliber guns. It fits my hand perfectly. The trigger has a long pull but it's easy to fire and doesn't take long to get used to it. Loving my little Ruger!

Great pistol for the price. Straight from the box to the range. Accurate little pistol from within the 15 yards we shot from. No problems as mentioned in prior models; ie: failure to feed/ eject. Trigger is still a little long but lighter than the Non-Safety Rugers. Safety is reasonable size; however, slide release could use a little more size. It is a little too flush for me to push on with larger fingers. OVERALL great pistol, GREAT service as always from Buds. Only disappointment is (1) magazine...
