Ruger Super Redhawk Toklat Talo 454 Casull Revolver - Stainless/Silver, 5" Barrel, 6 Rounds

Had to send back to Ruger to rebore the cylinder, some were too tight. Return process and repair by Ruger was easy and quick. Ended up with a fine revolver.

Another hassle free purchase from Buds. This thing is a beast! Very enjoyable to shoot with 45 Colt. Shooting hot 454 bear loads will get your attention, but still manageable if you just shoot a handful per session.

Whether used for hunting or dangerous game protection, 454 casull will successfully handle anything in North America. I wouldn't use it as a home protection gun its to powerful.

Bought this revolver about a year ago. So far have fired few full power loads, but manageable. Mostly shooting medium power handloads which are no problem. Really like this barrel length for portability yet somewhat easier to shoot well. Only difficulty encountered, is the 30mm rings to mount an ultradot loosen under recoil no matter how I torque and set with blue loctight. Shoots great with this sight, but will go back to open sights.

Just got this and have been going over it. It’s a pretty revolver. I think it will work great but there are a couple things that bother me about it. There is a lot of burrs left on the gun. It should function fine but I’ll just have to go in and remove them. Second, is every screw that holds the sights and the grip on look like they were tightened with a screw driver that was way to small for them, resulting in stripped, ugly looking screws. Not a big deal as far as functionality goes but for almost $1000 it really drives me crazy that it came like this.

This is a beast of a revolver. Very versatile from 45 cowboys loads to full house 454. And as always Buds had a great price and fast shipping.

This is my 7th or 8th gun from budsgunshop and won’t be my last all have been great! This Ruger is one awesome revolver I have shot hot 45 loads and plinking loads at 25 and 50 yards at 8 inch plated super accurate 6 out of 6 just about everytime. Shooting 454 300 grain with 30 grains of w-296 really isn’t bad at all it’s just so much fun. The grips really soaked up the recoil. Can’t wait to take this pistol out shooting again!

Haven't fired it yet, but excellent fit and finish. I have been wanting one of these before they're gone for good. Honestly will probably stick to the 45 Colt rounds most of the time considering the Casull will turn it into a hand cannon with appropriate recoil.

Gun is Perfect !! Have only shot it 20 times, I have to save up for my next range trip !!! On every shot you can feel it over your entire body!!! Hold on, and just let the cannon move you and you will begin to enjoy the experience!! The gun is solid and feels Great in my medium size hands. The 5" barrel is easy to handle and can be managed even after 15 rounds. If you are thinking about one, buy it, while they are in stock, Buds is the place.
