• Q: Just purchased the Century (c29v2) and was curious if this would work? Would a magnifier and red dot fit?

  It will but this includes a weaver rail I'd spend a little more and get a midwest industries mount that includes a 1913 mil spec picatiny rail, it costs a little more but it is a quality mount and will be more reliable, durable, hold zero better, and the pic rail will be compatible with .ore optics then the weaver rail.

• Q: is this a quick detach or some kind of screw on?

  It is held down with 3 allen screws, from the description: " Mount Easily Slides on to Side Mount Rail and Clamps down With Three Allen Style Screws for a Secure Mounting Base."

  It is somewhat universal and so far it seems to fit and lock up tightly on virtually all variations of AK rifle if your rifle is equipped with a side rail.
