So far, so good. Loaded this with Federal Punch. Nice extra carry firearm. It shoots and is accurate at the range you will probably need it for.

Shot the gun for the first time with federal ammo today. Gun cycled great, on target and a pleasure to shoot. No issues what so ever. My wife ran about 60 or 70 rounds through it. She can rack it, load it, and operate it comfortably. This is going to be a great fun gun and something that lets my wife enjoy shooting as much as I do. I highly recommend the gun and Buds. They are 5 star!

Love this gun, great little shooter with no issues. Great practice gun for other full size shields, with less cost to train with .22LR, I would recommend this gun.

I purchased this weapon because I wanted a 22 pistol that I could shoot with friends and family who are not experienced with weapons handling. The gun itself shoots nice for a 22 and my only complaint is that the trigger feels like you will break it off if you squeeze too hard or if you squeeze it while the weapon is on safety (which a beginner is likely to do). I also bought the gun from this site because they offered a military discount but after further review I realized the discount was only $10 so definitely not significant.

My 3rd 22c. I use these for CPL students who either dont own a gun yet or show up with a gun for class that wont function properly. All 3 of these eat any ammo I throw at it. Only complaint is that S&W tightens the thread protector on at the factory so tight I had to take 2 of the 3 to a gunsmith to get them removed.

I bought this M&P 22 compact because 22lr ammo is finally back on the shelves, most of the time. This gun is fun! Shot a few different ammo (all 40 gr) brands without a single problem. If you own a Shield, this is the perfect training companion gun. Rear sight is adjustble and comes with an allen wrench. Buds was excellent. Got the gun in less than a week after ordering. My FFL only had good experiences with Buds.

Bud's service and shipping were great and I experienced no issues. After picking up the pistol I cleaned and oiled it in accordance with S&W's instructions then took it to my local indoor range the next day. The first 100 rounds were CCI Mini-Mags, followed by CCI standard velocity, Blazers, and Agulla. The pistol ate everything without a problem. The pistol is lightweight, but recoil, even with the Mini-Mags was negligible. This would be a great beginners pistol as it is easy to fire. The sights very highly visible and allowed me to quickly acquire my target.
