Traditions introduces the Vortek Ultralight LDR - the only break-action
muzzleloader with a 30" barrel on the market! With the addition of the 30"
barrel the Vortek Ultralight LDR gives you better accuracy at longer
distances. With an exposed breech and sights, this gun is legal in
Northwestern states like Idaho, Washington, and Oregon that have to adhere
to certain regulations. This gun also now comes with the Accelerator Breech
Plug which removes by hand and requires no tools. When it comes to
features, the Vortek Ultralight LDR doesn't leave anything on the table.
The longer barrel provides increased velocity and downrange accuracy.
Besides the change in barrel length, the Vortek Ultralight LDR combines all
of the other features of the award-winning Vortek Ultralight. Some of these
features include Dual Safety System, Premium CeraKote Finish and our Speed
Load System. Along with all these features the Vortek Ultralight LDR weighs
only 6.8 pounds. You will no longer have to sacrifice a lighter gun to get
better accuracy. This gun also comes with the Quick-T Ramrod Handle. It
functions like a palm save and t-handle all in one, making it easier and
more comfortable to load your rifle. The Quick-T Ramrod Handle has a
t-shaped piece with brass jag that can screw in, allowing your ramrod to
function like a work or cleaning rod. The Quick-T Ramrod Handle sits on
your ramrod when it is in the storage position on your rifle. This gun is
equipped with an open breech, magnum musket ignition, and Williams fiber
optic metal sights necessary to meet the state-specific regulation.
