Not the quality i would expect from Colt. I have other Colt pistols that have hundreds of rounds thru them that have tighter tolerances than this new gun....shame on me i guess for buying a gun that i did not hold in my hand first, but i thought since i was buying a gun from a quality mfg. I would be safe

Really light weight and an excellent feel overall

Absolutely love the Colt LW Commander in 38 Super. Fit and finish is very good with and the color scheme of this Talo is different but quite attractive. Looks better in person than in pictures. A crisp consistent 4 pound trigger with great sights that shoot point of aim, not 6 o’clock. Combine that with the 38 super cartridge in a smaller lighter package than a full size 1911, what’s not to love. Almost immediately replaced my smaller 9mm for daily carry. It’s a real pleasure to shoot and accurate with a verity of ammo brands turning in nearly identical point of impact. A great product worth the price!

I'm highly disappointed with mine. Had several instances where the slide would not lock back after the last round was fired along with the magazine not dropping freely. I had to stick my finger down through the ejection port and push the magazine out. I haven't tried any good Colt mags or quality aftermarket ones with this gun yet, so I'm hoping it's just a magazine issue. Still, I'm out one good magazine. The other issue I had was one of the grips shot loose. I didn't have my tools with me at the time, but no problem I thought. I'll just tighten that up when I get hope. I go to tighten the screw and one of the grip screw bushings was stripped. Like I said, highly disappointed, especially for what Colt asks for these pistols.

I have very happy with my purchase with colt 38 super GREAT shooting pistol colt still makes a great gun. Buds was excellent with my purchase and went to the next level to make sure I was happy! I would highly recommend colt and buds,mike Fiaschetti.

This is a very well made handgun. The overall fit and finish is excellent. The barrel to slide lock up is very tight. It has fed and functioned flawlessly with every load I have fed it. Jacketed or lead, factory or reload; they all work. The accuracy is very good with all. It is extremely accurate with Cor-Bon 147gr performance match ammo. It is a very easy gun to carry. flat and light. The thin G10 grips are different from other 1911s, but the feel is good. This is going to the top of the every day carry list. Overall this is one of the best new gun purchases I have ever made.

What a fantastic pistol. I'm glad I jumped at the chance to own this lil guy being since only 300 have been produced and said only 300 more will hit the market. Went to the range today and I was very impressed. Out of the box it has a very short trigger pull and is quite accurate; I had no need to make any adjustments. I would highly recommend this lil buddy to you if one comes available to purchase.
