Buffalo Bore's 357 mag. ammo adds more power than ever before to the 357 mag. This ammo is safe to shoot in ANY all-steel 357 revolver, including J frames. This ammo is no harder on your gun than any other normal 357 ammo. This ammo is safe providing the gun is in safe condition for use with any normal 357 ammo. This ammo is not recommended to be fired in super light alloy revolvers the recoil is severe enough to cause crimp jump, but the ammo itself wont hurt these super lightweight revolvers.

Great ammo that shoots as advertised!

I’ve been running these through a scandium frame 340PD j frame and they’re about as angry as I expected them to be. I’m a 44 magnum guy so I don’t have a longer barreled 357 to try them in yet. They’ve been a novelty so far in the 11oz. Snub nose.

Too expensive. This is the heaviest bullet I was able to find in this caliber. Will keep it only in case I hike in areas where bears live.

This ammo has a little more recoil than my American Eagle 357 magnum does. Its expensive as most of the specialty loads are. I will buy more.

Bought for my everyday woods gun only fired at range accuracy was spot on through a 3 in Barrel and were very hard hitting on steel targets I’m confident the will do the job of protection against anything that I’m may come across but will also fill the freezer if the opportunity presents itself win win for me

I recently shot a few of these out of my 4" Ruger GP100. Although they are more powerful than any 357 Mag ammo I've tried so far, the recoil is not that bad in a heavy gun like the GP100. I would not shoot these out of a snub nose or any other lightweight revolver. Buffalo Bore says these were designed to stop a bear. I don't doubt them. They appear to be very well made and the few that I shot worked perfectly and ejected easily. If you're going to be out in the woods and you own a 357 Mag revolver this is the ammo for you.

Good quality ammo if you use .357 as a trail gun. No doubt in my mind these big slugs can get penetration on a nasty critter if needed.
