The SKS-S30 is a 30-rd magazine designed for the SKS rifles and carbines. The magazine body is constructed from heat-treated blued steel, with a follower made from proprietary DuPont® Zytel™ based polymer. The spring is made from heat treated Chrome-silicon wire for maximum reliability and smooth feeding.
NOTICE: Due to the variability in mag-well dimensions in the wide variety of manufacturers of the SKS rifles and carbines, and in how they have been converted for the use of detachable magazines; this magazine may require hand-fitting, or may not be suitable for your individual firearm.

The magazines I ordered did not fit my SKS. I have a Russian SKS and they didn’t even come close to fitting. I sent them to the manufacturer to be replaced!

This is the best quality SKS mag on the market. Virtually all of the rest of the metal SKS mags on market are cheap, un-heat-treated steel. Most were made before the 1994 ban, and quality was lacking. ProMag makes the only steel SKS mag worth buying or owning.
