Sig Sauer P227 SAS G2 45 Automatic Colt Pistol - Blue/Black, 10+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, Night Sights

A really good, typical Sig .45 ACP in a reasonable sized package. Great shooter in DA/SA, and meets the mag limits of Chicago and Cook Crook County, 11 shots of 185 copper jacketed HP is nothing to sneeze at, and even if it don't expand the .45 isn't getting any smaller!
The usual fast effective Buds service and delivery. If only I could get a matched pair!

Excellent trigger but, slide and frame fit very sloppy in the one I received. Placing magazine in firearms with all 10 rds requires extra effort (not) smooth at all. Beautiful looking firearm but performance wise I find it needing. I have traded it for something better. Buds shipping and service are top notch and I had no problems with their service.

High end quality in manufacturing, ergonomics, flawless operation, accuracy, and all that in a carry package that gives you 10+1 in 45 ACP. This is what I have come to expect and admire in SIG SAUER weapons. Night sights, SRT, E2 Grips, 45 ACP stopping power in an excellent package and price! Great turnaround from Bud’s along with customer service that does reflect attention to a customer’s requests and needs!

P227SAS, another superb SIG product! Fresh out of the case, cleaned, & off to the range. Have run over 300+ mixed rounds of 4 different brands & types of 45acp so far with no problems at all. Trigger is a little heavier/stiffer & E2 grips a little rougher than my P229 Legions. Expect both to get smoother with use. Really enjoyed the first range visit with the P227SAS, and find my P229 Legion holsters fit so that's a plus too. Wish SIG would have made a P229 Compact Legion in 45acp also. Top Notch Gun!

I received the Sig P227 SAS on 1/19/2016. The firearm was in excellent condition. After performing the initial cleaning, I was able to fire 100 rounds at the local range. First 50 rounds were MFS 230 grain +P JHP and the next 50 were my personal reloads. They were 200 grain plated HP. Firearm performed great with no issues. Very little muzzle flip for me. This firearm fits my Sig P229 Safariland paddle holster if anyone is trying to find out their holster options. Bud’s has excellent service and fast shipping. My local FFL dealer (The Outdoor Shop) was very helpful in the transfer.

Upon receipt, I could not even rack the slide. Upon further inspection, the barrel ramp appears to be out of spec as it is dragging against the frame when installed in the slide. Slide without barrel and recoil spring assembly attaches just fine to the frame and moves freely back and forth. I can't believe SIG let this out the door! Now I have to sit and wait for SIG to inspect and rectify. Just hope it will not take the 3-4 weeks as listed on the SIG web site.

I had eagerly awaited my P227 and after picking it up from my FFL dealer yesterday, I could not be happier. The finish was perfect and no flaws noted on the pistol. Two 10 round mags, cleaning rod, lock which is typical. I have never cared for the .45 ACP until recently firing a Sig 227 Tactical my son purchased from Buds. I've taken my 227 apart for cleaning and familiarity. I will wait until next week to fire this pistol. The grip feel in the hand is fantastic and I like the 3 dot night sights. Shipping was fast and dealing with Bud's is always easy. I also purchased two additional mags from Buds for this pistol. They had the lowest prices I could find.

I just picked up my Sig P227 SAS from my local FFL today. Bud's layaway sale and shipping were spot on and the handgun was received in excellent condition. The handgun comes with two magazines, fit and finish are excellent and while Glock claims perfection, it is really to be found in a Sig da/sa trigger.
