Kahr Arms CT40 7+1 .40 S&W 4" - Stainless/Silver, 4" Barrel, 7+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, 3-Dot Sights

I purchased this gun in 2018. During the first two days breaking it in at the range, the magazine would drop out after firing three rounds. It didn't matter if they were three consecutive shots, or if I fired three singles, you could count on a magazine drop. The sequence went like this; boom-boom-boom-drop; boom pause boom pause boom-drop. I sent the gun back to Kahr and a few weeks later my firearm returned with a note saying they couldn't replicate the problem. However, they went ahead and replaced all of the magazine catch related parts. A trip to the range showed the problem was corrected. Now its the end of 2023; after many trips to the range, the slide wobbles side-to-side on the frame. It still fires ok, but as the slide cycles, it sounds metallic and just feels sloppy.

I loved it. I liked the feel of it. I liked how compact and thin it was. Very easy to conceal. Unfortunately there was a big issue with it. It held 7 rounds. With all seven rounds in the mag I attempted to rack it and it jammed while attempting to feed the first round. Tried multiple times again and it still failed. I removed the seventh round and left six. Racked the first round perfectly fine. Tried with seven again. Failed. At that point I didn't feel it was reliable as it should be. Great looking gun though.

Grip absolutely sucks but some shake board tape fixes that. Very accurate nice fun shooter. Only have 100 rounds through it so not sure how it’ll last in the long run but it’s a good gun.

Great power in a shootable size gun. They own the market with such a light weight powerhouse. Go big or go home. Great horsepower for the money

Great pistol! Super comfortable. In my opinion its a more affordable G48 in .40 with a thin single stack and grip.
Awesome gun for the price with great quality.

This pistol is well made for it's price and it's made in the USA. After having a much nicer handgun stolen from my car, I decided two things: First, to use a safe with tethered cable and second, to carry an entry level pistol. If this gets stolen I won't cry too hard, but it's definitely reliable enough to trust if needed.

I new when I bought this pistol I would have to break it in. I first took it apart and did all the polishing and cleaned the tracks on the rails.
This is a pleasure to shoot. I reload my own ammo. This took everything I threw at it with only a few ftes out of over 100 rounds of my stuff and a box of rem.
For the price and Buds service this is a decent fun pistol.
