I absolutely enjoy this revolver. It's my favorite to shoot. Beauty and workmanship on the one I received is impeccable. 38Spl 148gr was cutter is a nail driver.

This is a great looking gun, and it hasn't failed me yet. It was my first single-action other than a 22. One warning was that several of the screws tend to come loose after firing for a while, such as the ones on the side of the frame and the screws that hold the backstrap on. Temp. thread locker can solver this, of course. I've actually shot just as many hand loads of .38spl as I have store-bought and so far so good. I don't use as many .357 since .38s are cheaper, especially when reloading. This pistol is perfect for plinking and is just plain fun to shoot. The brass backstrap really makes this particular model look unique, but I'd also eventually like to get one in the polished nickel finish, even though it would be nice to have a matching pair.

This is a beautiful gun. Got it yesterday and it looks better than the picture. I appreciate Ruger single actions but for the money this hard to beat. Haven't shot it yet but everything seems tight and well put together. My son will be happy to get this one day. I reload 38spl and wanted a strong gun just in case my 'recipe' is a little off haha.

beautiful gun, fun to shoot .. have only used 38spl in it so far .. takes a little getting use to but after all the auto I have, but this is a perfect mate for the 357/38 lever action
