I.O Inc. M214 AK-47 7.62x39 Semi Auto Rifle - Blue/Black, 16" Barrel, 30+1 Rounds, Synthetic

Nice gun shoots great. Only issue is bolt will not stay back.

Reason I bought this rifle is that my son who is in the Marines brought one home for a visit. Absolutly loved it. He burned magazine after magazine through it. 200-400 rounds in 15-20 mins every time we went out. Never had a problem no matter how hot and dirty he got it. The trigger is real good for stock real good for any rifle. Mine came with 2 mags and both fit perfectly, I did round some edges in certain spots after just to loosen them up a little. Mine came with a bag of rubber hand grips that fit over the picitinny rail to make more comfortable. They come in approx 2 inch sections and can be custom placed for were you want your hands. Nice touch. They are fairly accurate. At least mine and my sons is. He actually used his for coyote hunting this winter when he was home and shot a fox at a hundred yards. Dead on hit. I am doing some upgrades on this rifle and will be using it in 3 gun this spring. I have that much confidence in it.

Good American made AK, I.O.has had its ups and downs but mine runs fine and shoots about 2 MOA.

Had some horrible issues with this initially. Sent it back to IO. Had to wait a very long time to get it back. That's the bad. Now for the rest of the story... I kept in contact with the customer service (Janean). Wow. She needs a raise. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Answered my questions and facilitated my concerns from her end. When I got the gun back, it had been smoothed out and feels like it had some smithing done. I'm not really liking the pull on the trigger much, as it's a bit light for gunfighting. I like to have to actually pull the trigger so I have that tactical reinforcement. That said, I've put my obligatory 750 rounds of mixed trash ammo through it and I never had a misfeed, misfire, or any other issue. It ejects in to next week, which I like. I picked up MagPul mags and there was never a problem with fit or use. IO needs to work on their initial release of their guns. My thought is "this one works so well, why did I have to send it back to get this quality?" I do like that it's US made from US parts. All in all, it's an AK. It performs like an AK. The initial issues are the reason I just can't give it a 5.

This is my second IO AK is the last year both were junk ,I bought the second one hopeing the first was a fluke , constant bolt sticking failure to eject out of both guns!!! Because they say made in America Dosnet mean the quality is there , I've had a M M AK and now a DDI so I know the difference and lack of reliabtiy , this should be a 400$ gun tops , nothing to do with buds , I order it on a Monday moring and had it in my Tuesday eveing that's great service

Just took this bad boy out to the range yesterday - gotta say, it's a lot of fun to shoot. Straight out of the box, it had a couple of FTF issues - I think it was a mix of the terrible magazines (which don't fit well into the receiver at all) and the lack of cleaning more than the design of the weapon itself. The stock felt like clunky, stiff plastic... but I switched it out for a zhukov-s stock before going to the range, so I can't really say how it would have been otherwise. The IO mags were tough to load, misfed, and tough to fit into the receiver without doing it 100 times - I definitely plan on switching them out with some steel mags and P-mags. Once I get it all cleaned up with new mags, I hope it fares better than the first day - but all in all, I think this is a good gun for the price. And of course it goes without saying that Bud's customer service and shipping speed were phenomenal!

I would like to give a shout out to Hickok45 for putting me onto Buds gun shop and helping me run across a nice US made AK47 from I.O. on this website. I am a big fan of the AK47 and like the tactical rails and longer stock put on this gun. The bolt is as smooth as butter and everything else on this firearm looks amazing from the work on the outside to the barrel itself. By far one of the best AK47s I have seen and I have owned and shot a few different models of the AK47. I plan on shooting this one once I have the time to because working 12-14 hours here in the OBX during tourist season. As far as I know it should shoot fine based off reviews of this rifle I have seen online. The two best things I love about this rifle is the tactical weaver rails(4 of them) and the extended stock which sits better back in my arm position than other ak47's.

Decided it was time to add the AK-47 to my collection, given the higher prices the imported rifles are demanding these days thanks to 'Executive Orders", this MADE IN THE USA AK-47 is the way to go. Compared to other rifles that are modified from imported rifles, the fit and finish on this IO Industries M214 is great. Stamped receiver has good fit and finish, no defects whatsoever. This is American Capitalism at work here, take a good product and make it a lot better and build it in Florida. Good price from Buds. Ran 200 rounds and it works perfectly. Another good deal from Buds, grab one when they are in stock.

This is a very NICE looking, made in the USA, AK47! Excellent fit & finish for an AK47! Nothing rattling, no loose, wiggling parts! It shoots great using cheap Tula ammo with no problems. Shot 100 rounds! The picture above is wrong. The M214 has a FULL Length Aluminum quad rail, which I like a lot. Also, it came in a nice padded hard case, with rail covers, oil can, 2 30rd magazines, & sling! Just Fantastic! Bud so far has been GREAT!

One of the Best AKs I have ever had it is well built and speaking of that you can't beat that it is built Right here at home in the U.S.A and Buds and I.O. even got the price right!!!! I will be purchasing more of these for my customers.
