The Tavor SAR Flattop is a semi-automatic rifle that comes with a closed rotating bolt and a long gas stroke on the piston head. The Tavor SAR Flattop incorporates a full-length MIL-STD Picatinny top rail in addition to the standard short rail mounted at a 45 degree angle opposite the charging handle. The 16.5" barrel is made of CrMoV steel, chrome-lined and cold hammer forged. The stock has reinforced polymer bullpup configuration. Rifle has folding blade front sight and folding aperture rear sight. This rifle uses a polymer NATO STANAG type magazine. A 9mm Parabellum conversion kit with CHF barrel is optional. Sales of this rifle may be restricted in certain states and the District of Columbia.

The IWI Tavor is my first bullpup rifle and I have to say that I was not disappointed. Even with the 16 inch barrel is overall shorter than the M4. I won't say it feels lighter than the M4, but because the weight of the weapon its mostly on the rear it feels easier to handle. The trigger pull feels a hair tighter than the M4, but being my first non AR platform this is perhaps a product of my imagination. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, which by the way is my second with Bud's. I am very pleased with their service as well, and will be looking forward to purchase more products.

My first bullpup rifle. IWI got it right with this gun. Light weight, low recoil, accurate at distance, reliable, and comfortable to shoot. Easily my son's favorite .223/5.56 NATO rifle. I wasn't so sure about it when we first got it. But after more than 3500 rounds with no misfires, stove pipes, or any hangups what so ever, I've become a huge fan. Easy take down for cleaning, quickly able to switch from right to left shooter ( my son's a lefty) and w/a red dot sight, highly accurate. Nice nice rifle.

Great little rifle. I dropped in an aftermarket trigger immediately and the gun shoots very well. Great ergonomics, very comfortable gun. Going to convert to 300 BLK later this year when IWI releases the conversions kits.

love this rifle very compact rifle 5 stars for buds and the rifle.... with the heavy trigger the grouping at 100 yards is as i expected to be 4-6 inches. but it isnt ment to be a target shooter its a field gun .... so an after market trigger will help. i do recommend getting the mepro-light optic to go with it. ... the gun strips down quick and easy and the cleaning kit actualy has rods instead of the bullshit cord cleaner. over all iwi impressed me with the owners manual. going over every aspect and part of the rifle with alot of diagrams and color coding. even a bullet trajectory chart to work from at the range. even the book itself is made to last..... very much worth the money

Sweet little rifle. Once my payment cleared the rifle was delivered in only a few days. The trigger pull is as bad as everybody says it is, will be looking into an aftermarket trigger. Five stars for buds, four for rifle due to the trigger. Note - fourth purchase through buds. They're top notch
