The modernized Galil Ace is based upon the reliable mechanism of the original Galil assault rifle, and continuous improvements have resulted in an extremely reliable and highly accurate Galil Ace. Modernizations include weight reduction due to use of modern polymers, increased magazine compatibility, and a left-side charging handle (reciprocating) allowing for weak hand operation. The milled steel receiver is topped with a two-piece, full-length Picatinny rail, and it has a Picatinny style tri-rail forearm with built in, slide on/off rail covers with pressure switch access. The Galil Ace features fully adjustable iron sights with a Tritium front post and 2-dot Tritium rear aperture. Galil Ace SB models feature a side-folding stabilizing brace (produced for IWI US by SB Tactical). With the unique side-folding feature, the Galil Ace SB can be fired with or without the brace extended depending on the shooters need. With the brace folded, storage space required in your safe or range/rifle bag is minimized.

The folding stabilizing brace is a very poor design. When folded, access to the trigger is difficult. A simple cutout on the right side of the brace would allow fast and easy access to the trigger without having to unfold the stabilizing brace.

Great pistol and great service by Buds. IWI makes great products, about 300 rounds in and has ran flawlessly.

Its a great gun! If you like the durability and reliability of a Ak, and the modern look of a SCAR, this is a great option. At the price you can put on some really nice optics and accessories on it and stock up on ammo and mags for the price of a SCAR 17 by itself. I love the variety of ammo and mags that can be used with this weapon. Im sure you could put 20k + rounds though this gun with no problems.

The best firearm I’ve bought to date solid construction and power that comes out when fired is amazing, I’ve had the faint of heart asked to move down some lanes on several occasions at the indoor range when fired just an amazing all around firearm and will eat anything you put in it good job IWI and thanks Bud’s!!!!
