What is a good brand recoil pad for this rifle?

Is Hornady the only ammo brand for this rifle? I'm not familiar with this type of rifle thanks for any info.

Quality is fine but a 7lb gun in 375 will have stout recoil. A slip on pad or or shoulder pad will help a good bit though.

It is a very good quality rifle IMO it is worth the money recoil will be stout IE IT WILL KICK HARD

Love This Rifle!! I first saw this rifle at the NRA Convention, but it was a prototype, and not yet available for sale. It ended up taking 3 years before it came to market, with me calling Mossberg constantly to get updates. (They run production lines of popular models and calibers first, and .375 just wasn't high on the list.) It finally became available and I snagged one. Put a LPVO on it, as the intended range will not be over 200m. Fit and finish is very good, especially for a sub $500 "budget" rifle. I reload, so ammo sourcing wasn't a problem. Range time has been uneventful, with feeding and extraction being 100%. Overall, very pleased.

Very nice rifle if you want a lot of stopping power look at this product. You can hunt anything in the world with this caliber.

I am very impressed with this. I have to admit, I am not a fan of Mossberg rifles. The few I've owned have been very.... well for lack of a better word, bland, unrefined. Well I was dead set on getting a .375 ruger, purely for fun and had been shopping around. Any other rifle in this caliber runs for over $700! I figures, I had not much to lose so I'd step out on a limb and try it. It looked great in the pictures. In person, this is a beautiful gun. Out of the box accuracy with handloads printed nice 1.5" group with first 10 rounds. I'm sure with a little refinement this can be vastly improved as this was off hand at 100 yds. Very stout recoil and thunderous muzzle blast, more than a 300 win mag by far, but fun gun for the price. If your looking for big bore fun, with rifle like trajectory this is your rifle. Can be loaded to humanely take down whitetail without overkill or taken to its full potential it has more power than a 375 H&H mag, more than enough for elephant or anything else that walks this earth.
