I haven't had this much fun shooting in quite some time. Rate of fire is, of course, slower than metallic cartridge pistols - but the steps, the care taken for each shot, the satisfaction of the flash and smoke and those massive holes punched in a target - wow. That was fun! Hardest part of this whole exercise was finding black powder and caps. So, yea - the revolver is exactly what I was after. Well built, packaged well and with good instructions included. Shipping did take a bit of time, but with COVID-19 getting in everyone's way, understandable. It arrived in fine shape. I'm likely to be ordering up another, different pistol in a year or so - and with this experience, I'll be ordering it from Buds without hesitation.
