This rifle is awesome. I have many rifles in different calibers but for the money this one is the most accurate one I have right out of the box. It is not picky on ammunition either. Great gun!

I love this gun, paired with a middle tier optic, it's great for bench and prone shooting, Off hand as well. Though it's a bit heavier than I want. Paired with a bipod I use it for 300 yard precision target shooting too. The bolt action is smooth and trigger crisp, makes quick follow up shoots good too. The 22-250 is a fast round too. The wood(?) stock is sexy.

Have not taken it to the range yet, but overall impressions are excellent. Very tank like construction, the barrel is massive. Factory oversized bolt knob is a big plus. Very robust heavy duty rail, and the trigger....for a sub $500 long range bolt gun, this two stage adjustable trigger is fantastic out of the box. Breaks somewhere around 3.5ish pounds, minimal travel and reset. If you’re on the fence about this 783 series rifle, do it, you won’t be disappointed. ZERO purchase regret.
