Quality product and nice ergonomics all around. Overall, I am happy with the rifle and trigger (for the price) but would not call the bolt action "smooth" compared to a typical savage and higher end rifles. It has a relatively narrow hand guard so to make it stable if you shoot off of a bag, you'll need to add something like an arca rail (which you probably want to do anyway to attach a bipod and be able to adjust along most of the length of the guard). Additional magazines/magazines with additional capacity are easy to find and relatively cheap (Magpul). Keep in mind If you shoot a lot the 6mm will "burn" a barrel out after a couple thousand rounds vs a 6.5 or other rounds that will last twice as long. So you'll need to perhaps factor in a re-barrel after a couple of years.

The PR seems well put together. It's heavy. The 6mm Creedmoor rifle shoots accurately with minimal recoil. The stock is very adjustable to get it right for you. I'd buy it again, but I do note that 6.5 mm Creedmoor ammo is more plentiful than 6mm.

Best bang for your buck. I took this on a wolf hunt and gun really did the job. It mad a 300yard shot look like it was nothing. I would definitely recommended this gun to anyone! I am looking to eventually expand on my collection with the 338 next.

Hornady blacks 105 gr. were at the edge of shooting 1 moa but groups averaged 1” overall

Sighted in at 50 yards with custom made ammo.Hornady bullets and Hogdon powder.Three bullets can make a large hole when I do my part.Confident that similar results may be obtained at 100 yards.

What can I possibly say about the rpr that hasn’t been said, mine is chambered in 6mm Creedmoor and the first time out with this rifle I was shooting sub moa at 100 yards while breaking in the barrel. Every firearm I own is a Ruger and that isn’t by accident, virtually anyone can get into precision shooting thanks to Ruger. Quality, affordability,dependability are all part of what makes this the best gun for the money. I will put this gun up against guns costing two or even three times as much.

Man, this is a sweet rifle, I had all smiles when I picked it up here in Houston at my LGS. Every one in the store was waiting for me to unbox this rifle. You should have seen the smiles and grins I got. I had to whisper budsgunshop.com to all the guys in the store( didn’t want to get banned from the store. :) It was like Christmas Day, and I had the coolest toy to play with. Every one wanted to hold it, see it, and handle it, to which I obliged. Buds you did it again I am one happy man

Great rifle at an even greater price. Bud's was wonderful to deal with, as usual. Rifle shipped very quickly and arrived as advertised. If you haven't had the chance to shoot a RPR, then you don't know what you're missing. This rifle shot 1/2 moa @ 100 yrds, with Hornady match ammo, right out of the box! I haven't finished the barrel break in yet (40 rounds shot so far) and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This thing can shoot !!! The recoil of the 6mm is very light and a blast to shoot. At 200 yrds I'm getting 1-1.25" 5 shot groups. I am extremely happy with my new rifle and equally happy with Bud's. Do yourself a favor buy a RPR and buy it from Bud's you will not be disappointed.

This thing is a tack driver with hornady eld match cant wait to see what it does with reloads. Can't beat the price and service from buds

This Ruger precision rifle really is a nice rifle. I have been looking at the Tikka tac-a1, but when buds lowered the price on the RPR I couldn’t resist. Glad I got it!

Great deal as always, from Bud's. I've shot 42 rounds of factory Hornady ammo, and this rifle is great! Cleaned the gun before I took it out and functioned flawlessly.

I am having trouble getting dies for it. Some are in the mail finally. To make a long story short, I haven't shot it. It's a little heaver than i thought it would be, but that is a good thing. I like the trigger pull it's light and crisp and it could be adjusted lighter if later on I fill I need it. It appears to be very well made. Until I shoot it that about all I can tell you.

The Ruger Precision Rifle I ordered from Bud's in caliber 6mm Creedmoor arrived as ordered. All aspects of transaction went smoothly. The rifle arrived in good condition with no damages to rifle or shipping container. The stock on this rifle swings to the left and positions itself along the left side of the gun. To accomplish this, a button behind the received must be pushed. I found that the button on my rifle did not appear to function leaving the stock in the extended position. I called Ruger for assistance; they advised tapping the button gently with a rubber hammer. I did and this release the button allowing the stock to swing to the left. The problem here is a tight fit of the button assembly and I will need to use the rubber hammer to tap the button until the parts wear-in. This is a minor inconvenience. I recommend that Bud's include a small instruction sheet with all RPRs they ship just to alert the purchaser of the action to take should they also have a problem with the stock release button being tight. Overall, my experience with Bud's was as expected. I received a quality product, in good condition at a good price. I will continue to shop Bud's for all my firearms needs. Feel free to use my comments as you wish.

I love the rifle the only thing was that it was advertised with a scope so I thought I was getting one but I didn't I'm a little piss about that but I got the product on time an I'm still pleased

A really well conceived weapon. Within first 2 trips to the range it is shooting under MOA with factory ammo. Easy on recoil and everything works as it should. Buds as usual was great !

Perfect sub moa rifle from factory. Exactly what I wanted. Buds has been shipping VERY quickly too.

I don't have a ton of round through the rifle. But on first groups I shot after break in the gun groups about a 1/2 MOA with factory ammo haven't tried any hand loads yet. Fit and finish on the rifle is excellent with the only issue being I had to turn the cheek riser around which on big deal at all. I would recommend this rifle to anyone looking to get into the long range game.
