Always wanted a coach gun and this is an inexpensive and quality shotgun. The finish has tooling marks in the receiver area and the wood is subpar for high grade walnut. It's a good shooter, a bit stiff opening the breach but that's to be expected.

Great gun for CAS shooting!

I only shoot black powder in these Coach Guns with the nickel barrels. They clean-up and look sharp on the range.

Really nice looking shotgun, works as it should, very simple gun to have for security. I keep it loaded with Buckshot shorty shells very little recoil but it's still buckshot and it would do the job. The wood and nickle plating have a really attractive look and for an extra $100 over the basic model of this gun it is worth it. I also bought a shotgun cartridge holder you can mount to the gun, it holds 6 more rounds so you keep 2 rounds in it 6 on the side for quick replacement. The Grovtec cartridge holders for shotguns and rifles don't work as there intended cause they won't fit over most buttstocks, so you have to get creative in attaching them to your gun, but aia guess thats a different review. I would recommend this Stoeger coach supreme 12 gauge. One more thing, the break barrel action is very stiff until you oil it and work it up and down ... and when you do load it the safety it set automatically, remember forward the switch to Fire.

Super nice shotgun. I've wanted one for a while and when this one came back available I had to jump on it. Looks great in my safe and shoots awesome. Hard to beat the fit and finish from Stoeger. Service from buds was top notch as always.

I’m a collector and gun enthusiast. My favorites are the Ruger Blackhawks, Henry rifles, and my stoeger coach shot guns. The stoeger double barreled 12 gauge shot gun is a beautiful and fine tuned weapon. I bought a standard in 12 gauge ,then the 410 and finally be jewel of my collection , the nickel 12 gauge with American walnut stock. The comb, the lines and the trigger come together to make the gun easy and comfortable to shoot. Not only are my Steoger coach guns are a great to shoot they are very pleasing to the eyes, they are beautiful. I know, guns are Mechanically engineered for a” form follows function “ design but as a gunner there are many well designed guns that invoke emotional response. The Steoger nickel coach gun reminds me of the old west and the simplicity of the 1800’s. And 200 years later the same style weapon still reigns supreme. As for the price, shipping and quality of service. Buds Gun Shop is my go to gun shop.

Great shot gun, I've always wanted a side by side. Has a nice feel to it, worked great when I used it last weekend for upland hunting. Buds is alway great to deal with.

I am Very disappointed with this shotgun. No coach guns have been available for about two years, so when this became available I responded.
First thing I noticed was the runs on the wood finish. Poor welding in spots on the barrel joining.
The foreshock was extremely difficult to install when I took it home. It was the only thing that I did not put together in the store before accepting it.(Live and Learn)
So, next day took it back to the store and had them try the foreshock installation and they had a hard time as well. Bottom line: Poor quality /overpriced!
I left the gun there with the dealer for sale.

This is well made gun. The wood and finish on this gun is really nice, I guess I didn't expect it to be as good looking of a gun as it is. It's a great investment.

This is a beautiful Double barrel. It's very tight from the factory and will need some breaking in to open one handed. Completley satisfied with the purchase.

The Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme in Nickel is well worth the extra money to get the all-weather features. Just a beautiful gun. The fit and finish are excellent. It surpassed all my expectations actually given its price point. It's a big, heavy, well made SG which lends itself to very manageable recoil all the way up to 3" loads. It's a fine addition to my collection and will be to yours too.

Absolutely amazing piece. Only 3 main parts to it when breaking down/cleaning. Shipping was quick to my local shop, first time buying from buds and very satisfied with the level of service.

Pretty neat gun and works the way it should, was a bit stiff opening and closing but putting some of my works grease made it much smoother so I'd recommend putting something else on it after you get it. Biggest things I would say that could improve it even more is the lazer engraving on the wood was done pretty hastily so I'd use a bit more power or go a bit slower when doing it cause it's spotty and uneven, the metalwork for the nickel look wasn't very smooth and pretty scratchy but can be polished up pretty easily so I got over that pretty quick. Very fun shotgun!! It also has a Piece that presses the gun to safe when you open it up to remove/place shells inside, dunno if that's standard for break action shotguns but very smart idea, still learning tons of gunsmithing stuff myself. Thanks again!

An absolutely beautiful gun without a doubt.
It is a perfect addition to my custom long gun display case!
The only issue I have is the extreme tightness of the "break down".
It is so tight, it is almost impossible to break the gun down with TWO hands...and completely impossible to do so one handed. I haven't oiled it up yet, and hope that will help some.
It seems to be machined this way and I think only time wear will ease this up.
It comes disassembled, but putting it together and disassembling it is fairly easy!
Since it was bought for display only...the tight break down isn't an issue for me.

Very pleased with the workmanship that went in to this firearm. It shoots great and like the versatility the replaceable chokes offer. The wood is darker than the illustration and is very attractive. I was a little surprised that it was made in Brazil though as some of the reviews said it was made in the USA. Bottom line is that it's well worth the cost.
