I really like these mounts. They are on my rem 700 bdl 3006 that I carry in the mountains for bear protection and some hunting. My scope always returns to zero when removed and these mounts give you more rearward mounting of the scope for the proper eye relief for acquiring the targets quickly and naturally in offhand shooting. These are very sturdy if they are mounted correctly. I use steel warne mounts on all 3006 and up.
