Bought this barrel for conversion of a Mossberg 500 that I have owned since the 1970’s. Perfect fit. Shipping was a little slow but all is well.

I purchased a Mossberg 500XBL 12g 18" CB BEAD Barrel. I had been searching for one for a long time. I came across Bud's and gave them a try. Wow, there it was and they had one in stock and didn't charge me a leg and an arm. Very reasonable and it went on my 88 like a glove. Thank you David R

Worked perfectly and was a fair price. There was a worn spot on the finish, but I blame that on Mossberg, not Buds.

3 days ago i bought a mossberg 18.5 security barrel from buds for my 500. 3 days , that was really fast. I had one on backorder at P.O. , it was on back order for 8 (thats right i said 8) months. This barrel fit my Maverick 88 perfectly. Make sure to keep it well oiled to keep it from rusting. I’ve had no issues with it.

Good product. I bought this barrel for a modification to my 500 for a home-protection alternative. I keep it close loaded with 00 Buck and am pleased. It is about 2" longer than my magazine. I added a sling to round out the modification.

Great order process and deliver by Buds. Fit perfectly without issue. Exactly what I wanted for my 40 year old 500 that my Dad gave me as my second deer gun. Kills copperheads without remorse! Hopefully, I never have to use it for the purpose in which it was purchased, home defense.

Received the barrel for my Maverick. I like the fact that I now can use the same shotgun for hunting OR home defense. Change over is easy and somehow satisfying.

Bought this for a Maverick 88 along with a pistol grip. Primarily to freshen up an older toy, but for home defense, much easier to maneuver around than a full-length barrel. Haven't been to the range to shoot it yet, but looking forward to it. Thanks, Buds!

I bought this for my son for his Model 500. He is well pleased with it. It fits his shotgun well.

Changed moss 500 from 30" goose to 18.5" home defense effortlessly in less than a minute. Not even the first scratch or scuff like other reviewers. Packaged securely, shipped fast, and the Bud's no-hassel transaction. Been eyeing this one for years... glad I finally got it. Recommended! Only 4 stars until test fired. Will update after firing.

This barrel is great it did come with a scratch on it but what ever it for the range and home defense its not for showing off. The barrel handled very well at the range with 00 buck and slugs went through 20 rounds of each and again it handled awesome thank you buds gun shop for the great products

I just received my Mossberg 500 18" CB Barrel. The fit and finish is flawless. If there were any problems before, they seem to be corrected. Now I have a rifled bore for deer hunting and a cb bore fore home defense. Perfect!!!

Received the barrel in less than 7 days. Finish is good, a couple of small spots in the finish. Just a reminder that this is a security length barrel and is packed in the factory Mossberg plastic, for what it represents in the value and functionality it is great! No real issues with my purchase. Thanks.
