The magazine fit my PT92 perfectly, seems to feed fine. It's a good buy, and I'm glad I grabbed a few before Washington State decided we can't be trusted with 5 more rounds in our magazines.

My first purchase of a Mec-Gar Mag.
Great! Having only used Mfg mags, I was reluctant to try an aftermarket brand. It Slides cleanly into the Taurus PT92 with a good snug secure snap. The slightly thicker base plate was a nice addition for my larger hand. Very pleased. I will order Mec-Gar again.
This was also my first time order from Buds. I do a great deal of research on prices, quality, availability and proprietor ownership before buying. Prices and availability for multiple products were slightly better than Ebay and other sites. What will keep me coming back is the fact that the order showed up 2 DAYS after I ordered, with USPS (worthless) shipping. Maybe it happen to catch all the right flights or something, but the order was processed and shipped immediately, and this just a week after a covid drawn out Christmas. Their Chat was useless for me though, or maybe just this particular operator was un-gun savvy, replying with canned reply's. Otherwise, 5-Star. My new go-to. Hope it helps someone.

The magazine was delivered promptly at a fair price...............

I ordered 4 copies of Mec-Gar 15 round magazines and received them within 5 days--excellent job by Bds Gunshop. The magazine weights about 86g. The lengths are 125 mm at the rear, 110 mm at the front. For comparison, the original Taurus 15 round magazines the numbers are: 96.5g, 120 mm/rear, 111/ front. The Mec-Gar ammo receiver at the top has a much deeper and narrower ammo holder--lack of proper terminology, comparing to Taurus original. The deeper and narrower ammo holder makes the ammo insertion less smooth than the Taurus original. The Mec-Gar 15 round magazine spring is much more stronger than the Taurus original, which makes the ammo insertion very challenging. I could easily insert 13 rounds of ammo into the Taurus magazine, the 14th and 15th will take a little effort. But I have some difficulty to insert just 5~6 rounds of ammo into the Mec-Gar magazine. I hope after holding 5~10 rounds of ammo for a week or two the spring strength could be reduced to a more comfortable level. Other than that, the Mec-Gar magazines function just like the Taurus originals. They can be inserted into and rejected from the Taurus PT92 smoothly. The bullet loading is flawless. After firing all the bullets the magazine will keep the pistol chamber open to indicate the magazine is empty. I will do a follow up review after using them for awhile--stay tuned.

These magazines worked fantastic in my Taurus PT-99. Great experience from Buds.

Wouldn't fit my Taurus PT92. Packaging box specifically said "Browning Hi Power" on the front, but Taurus PT92 was listed on the back as well. Can't fault Bud's for this, but instead I'll blame the packaging for wrong information.

I purchased extra mags from Buds for my Taurus PT99. They are of excellent quality and work flawlessly in my pistol. They are identical in appearance and function to original magazine.

After receiving the package of 3 Mec Gar magazines. Looking at all 3 15 rd, beside the Taurus original 2 17 rds magazines that came with the PT 92Af (birthday gift)
The overall finish of the 3 magazines are outstanding. Well made, when loaded to capacity and compared to the Taurus clips. The Mec gar clips do not rattle. Positive lock up in the magazine well, it does take a solid slap on the bottom to lock though. (A good thing). Ejection is very positive, even ejects at sharp angle.

Overall. After some years carrying the M-9, the PT 92 and these Mec Gar magazine are a perfect fit.

Mecgars are exactly what my pt 92 needed. Helped with feeding issues I was having with the old factory mags.

Better than the one that came with the gun

This 15 round Mec-Gar magazine is great!! It is very well made and works flawlessly in my Taurus pt 92. It is easier to load than the factory 17 round mag's that came with the gun. I have other bought Mec-Gar mag's for my other pistols and have never been sorry. Dealing with Bud's is a pleasure too.

Great Mag! It fits into my 1988 PT99 Taurus perfect. Even better then the one that originally came with my gun 25 years ago! I am impressed with this company and went ahead and ordered the 20 round mag too for my 9mm. I plan on ordering more Mec Gar mags for my Taurus PT100 40 cal and also for my Girsan 1911 45 both pistols which were bought from Buds also. Buds is by far my favorite Gun store period. I just wish I lived closer so I could visit the retail store. I give this mag a 10 and Buds a 10 also and thank you to Timothy at Buds again for all your help with my last couple orders. Your help is much appreciated.
