Great magazines. Much higher spring force than typical 1911 magazines and these feed ammo very reliably.

Good mags but they do not lock the slide back after the last round, just bought Rock Island 8 round mags as the RI lock the slide when empty.

I am reviewing a recent purchase of a Wilson Stainless Elite Tactical Magazine for 1911 Government and/or Commander size pistols. I has used 1911 pistols since the late seventies and have through trial and error chosen Wilson Magazines for my pistols no matter the brand. I have had problems with the stock magazines in many brands but found that the Wilson magazines function perfectly time after time. No more bullets not feeding or slides not locking back after the magazines are empty. Just having a great magazine alone will cut down on failure to feed issues that plague some models. I have even replaced New Colt and Kimber 1911 with Wilson’s magazines just to be sure. Buy several of the tactical or model 47 Wilson magazines and you will never regret it.

The Wilson Combat 8 Round Stainless Tactical Elite are considered by many authorities to be the best 1911 magazine made. The three I purchased from Buds guns are no exception. The manufacturing quality shows on every component. I noticed immediately the strength on the spring when loading them for the first time. It required some hard pushing to seat the last couple of rounds. They are very smooth in and out of my Springfield TRP and have functioned flawlessly. They seat well and fit into the magazine well with no noticeable difference to the standard 7 round Springfield magazines that came with the pistol.

Slow to get - took more than a month to arrive, Buds had to reorder it during the process. Probably just a casualty of the 2020 world.

Best magazines I ever used. If you have a good thing, then stick to it. I've been buying Wilson Combat magazines for the past 30 years and see no reason to change. They are strongly built and reliable. Remember. You get what you pay for.

An efficient magazine that I would trust my life with. Shot 100 rounds using this today and it works great. I’ll probably stock up on these very soon.

Best 1911 magazines I have experienced. I have been running these for close to 2k rounds through my Guncrafter No Name. No hiccups. No complaints. Buds was excellent as always. I will be buying more of these in the future from right here at Buds!

You cant go wrong with Wilson Combat ETMs. I ordered 4 for my American Classic II to compete in IDPA and they work perfectly. The tube is about 5mm longer than most mags but this extended tube design helps make an 8rd 1911 magazine that is reliable.
