I bought this great little Handi Rifle in 7mm-08. It being a single shot, I needed a scope for those distance shots. But there are times when the target is much closer. Yes indeed, my rifle came with iron sights. Don't leave the gun store without them. I chose a Quik Site See Thru mount because they work. I have them on every rifle I own at present and have used them for 30 years, give or take a little. They don't shake loose, even with the heavy caliber rounds. Can't beat a Quik Site. jb
