Does not work on my Henry's Golden Boy 17HMR because there are no holes drilled in either the receiver or the barrel. Maybe I have an older model, but this is very disappointing. There doesn't seem to be any way to mount a scope on the 17 HMRs.

My scope mount is perfect. The mount holes were right under the rear sight just like Buds said they would be. Took less than 15 minutes to install my new scope base.Shipping was super quick.

My gun already had the pre drilled holes beneath the dove tail sight.. went right on perfectly and I've had no problems out of it. FYI the existing dove tail sight has to be removed left to right. I used a small punch to get mine off..

The Henry GBCSM Scope Mount For Golden Boy Cantelever, the screws holes were pre drilled in my Golden boy's barrel making the installation very easy. Its the only scope mount that Henry wants to use on the gun's barrel. I am well pleased with my order.
