The search for a black magazine for many firearms is sometimes a challenge. There are very few options for those of us who are Springfield owners. The big question is "will it run well in my gun". Well, I can say for certain that Mec-Gar manufactures an absolutely top line product that runs at least as well as the factory magazines. In fact, maybe better. The down side is that they discontinued the Springfield line, due to a lack of interest. So, grab them while you can.
