My first PX4 Compact was in .40 S&W. I liked the gun but wanted something I could train with, so I sold it to Bud's and later bought this PX4 Compact FDE in 9mm. I am a fan of Beretta's and have become accustomed to hammer-fired decocker pistols because of them. This Beretta is no different. Though I did have to perform a little surgery to convert the F model to a G type (decocker only), which was simple enough for me to do by myself. I love the fit, finish and ergonomics of this pistol. The 9mm makes practicing a little less expensive, so I can do more. Anyone could carry this gun, use it for home defense or just for fun shooting accurately. I can recommend this pistol with no qualms.

This is a nice gun. Don’t get me wrong. But the trigger is something out of the dark ages. That is my only complaint. A trigger upgrade is not cheap at all either. Based on trigger, and cost of making it usable, I couldn’t recommend this gun.

Weapon functions great. Grip is to company for full grip of you have large hands

I received my firearm in a timely manner and it was in new condition when I opened it up. Shot about 30 rounds through it after I cleaned it and started having a few issues. Had some ejection failures and a bunch of feed failures. So I looked up what other people have done for this problem. I loaded both magazines to full capacity amd kept the slide in the rear position overnight. Next time I took it out I made sure it was well oiled and I have not had one issue since and I am confident I will not have further issues. I have put around 600 rounds through it so far and no issues since the first outing. I also used heavier grain ammo for the first 100 shots after the first problems accrued. Very comfortable and love the fde.

Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but I’ve played with one before. It’s an all metal beast. Fill the magazine and you’re talking weight. If you carry and don’t care who sees then this is fine. Just use a sturdy belt. This price was great (it even less than on Expert Voice). Had it within a week. Buds was a fine experience. Never had anything bad to say about them.

I had a full size PX4 Storm 45 caliper pistol. I loved the way it would shoot but it was too heavy for my liking. So, I recently purchased a 9mm PX4storm compact and love it. Shoots great, very accurate even with a 3.27" barrel. Has great capacity at 15 rounds It is small enough to carry concealed. I had an initial problem with failure to eject after i fired the first 2 magazine. I called Beretta and spoke with a gunsmith who told me to use gun grease on the cam mechanism. I had to go buy some since it wasn't in my normal cleaning lubricating supplies. Once I used grease in the cam groove and on the cam follower, everything worked great with NO MORE problems. They should note that in their manual! My other issues with the gun are that it is very hard to depress the skinny little take-down buttons. I have applied a gun grease to it but it is still difficult. I know many manufacturers use this design but I would like to see them modified to a little wider easier to grip design. That would make them a bit more user friendly. The other issue I have is with how hard it is to eject the magazine. Hard to depress from my normal grip. Both of these issues are somewhat minor and do not make me regret my purchase. I still love this pistol and recommend it!

First pistol with de-cocker... confidence growing that this very nice gun isn't going to fire when de-cocked :) and becoming a favorite carry (although 16 rds are a wee bit heavy)

What a great deal on this gun, PX4 Compact. The FDE version was $120 less than the standard black and free shipping. That's my kind of deal! I ordered it on Mon. AM and picked it up at my FFL in Az on Thursday PM. Told a friend about Bud's and he bought a HK P2000 last week. Ordered it on Tuesday, and went to look at it at his FFL on Friday. All he could do is look at it because he is in California and has to wait another 10 days before picking it up! Spent most of my life there and don't even want go back to visit family. Anyway, if Bud's got it, buy it! Great service and you won't be sorry.

The PX4 Storm Compact is a perfect EDC gun. It carries comfortably, draws nicely with no snags, and conceals well. The capacity of 15 1 is respectable. The factory sights are easy to pick up, but I prefer night sights and had a set of tritium 3-dots installed. If you are already familiar with Beretta M9/92's, this gun will feel like home. Similar controls and grip angle. Grip is comfortable. My only gripe is the shade of the FDE Cerakote. The slide almost as a yellowish-drab hue under anything but sunlight. Overhead fluorescents particularly highlight the off-color. Having said that, the finish of the Cerakote is well done, and seems extremely durable. Overall this is a fine weapon with the Beretta fit-and-finish I've grown to love.

Nice pistol- Reliable, comfortable and easy shooter. I don't have big hands and it works well for me and my grip. The reassembly after take down is just a "little" tricky. The rotating barrel requires some attention! Glad to own it!

My edc, nice pull and firm grip. Had to upgrade my sights but everything else is a dream.
