This is the Winchester model 1894 and made in Japan. The fit and finish is impeccable. You will be delighted with this gun. It shoots as well as it looks!

Gun arrived today. I gave it a good once/twice/three times over for fit and finish. Overall I'm happy with appearance although the checkering on the fore-grip shows machine marks at the top where the checkering machine either started or ended. The action is solid and the gun feels right in your hands. The proof will be in the pudding when I get to fire it this weekend.
