I love Sig Sauer DA/SA pistols, especially the enhanced elite versions. The extended beaver tail, front serrations and enhanced trigger make all the difference. Night sights too. I do wish it had the undercut and x-ray sights like the Legion series but overall, it’s a great feature set on a stock pistol. Very happy with this gun.

First class service, and fast delivery. Price was par for what was available at the time...I will continue to do business with Bud's, and recommend that you check them out.

The enhanced elite series from Sig Sauer is one of the best that they offer. Straight from the factory the weapon comes with siglite night sights, e2 grips, SRT kit for short reset for the trigger. Ergonomics and handling with the enhanced beavertail give great purchase of the weapon. In an all steel slide and alloy frame, weight and balance of the weapon make this platform a pure shooting pleasure!

This is definitely my favorite gun now it shoots smooth and is accurate. Sig hit a homerun when they made this model. I just ordered the 226 in 40 cal. The beaver tail frame takes this gun to a new level, it’s definitely worth the extra money to get the elite. This was my first purchase of a gun online and buds made it as easy as possible, they sent me multiple emails letting me know when my gun was being mailed. 5 stars for buds!!!!!

The Sig Sauer P229 Enhanced Elite joins my collection of Sig Sauer pistols with Bud's classic on time delivery. I first previewed the P229 in 9mm about a year ago as a range rental at the place I frequently shoot at. After some time spent handling this gun and punching paper, I decided it was time to seriously consider getting one. I was most impressed with the smoothness of operation and balance in hand. I could follow up shots easily, and with great accuracy time and time again. And most notably, a very soft recoil. It compared very favorable to other pistols I'd been looking at, but was still missing something. Bam! Fast forward to the P229 Enhanced Elite. Front cocking serrations, full beaver tail alloy frame, short reset trigger, SigLite night sights, an E2 grip and 15+1 capacity. Nothing left out. This compact pistol rocks! Fit and finish is classic Sig Sauer, right to the T. The 229EE is extremely well behaved even with 127gr, and Plus P ammo. My first trip to the indoor range with a variety of loads left no surprises. Its eats them all. From 115gr up to 147gr, without even a hint of a problem. I felt the accuracy was optimal with the 124gr though. Firing this gun leaves you with the solid impression of capability, accuracy and reliability as it should. My only quibble is that the front strap checkering isn't quite as aggressive as I'd like. Still good, but not AS good as say my 10mm 1911 Tacops. That aside, the P229EE will be a new carry weapon in my rotation. It's a well rounded pistol with some very mature features, and that puts it well above the competition in my mind. Highly recommended.

The 229 Enhanced Elite 9mm feels great in my hand. Racking the slide is very smooth and easily accomplished. The slide release is also very smooth. Shooting is very soft and accurate. Even in this current market, I received this Sig 229 quickly and in perfect condition. Thanks Buds! This pistol actually came with 15 round magazines instead of the 13 round mags in the description. All newer 9mm Sig 229s are built on the .40 cal frame and have larger magazine wells, and therefore take the 229-1 9mm magazines that were introduced with the E2 series. I have only had the pistol for a couple of days, but I've already put 3 different brands of ammo, and a total of 300 round down the pipe and it has functioned flawlessly.
