I bought this as my primary carry firearm. I put 5 rounds of factory loaded ammuo through it at the range, after which the cylinder would no longer close.I called to get help from customer service and had to send my firearm back to Rossi for repair. It was logged in as received by them on 3/24/16. They will not give me a status not he repair, and keep giving me a standard "it can take up to 6 weeks" response, Very disappointed in the product and the customer service to resolve my issue. Highly recommend you keep looking for a different firearm. Do not buy the Rossi 2" 38SP.

This little snub nose is sweet! If your looking for a nice quality revolver for cheap get this. It's got a little weight to it but I like that, also the finish is really nice. If you like a nice shiny stainless revolver, this is for you.

I was skeptical about the price, I figured it was a throw away gun. Not so fast, the fit, the finish, and the feel of this gun shocked me. Nice stainless coat, the grips are rubber and have a nice texture to them, and they just so happen to fit nicely into my medium sized hand.More amazement at the range, great trigger pull from both double and single action. Oddly to me the fixed sights were very easy to pick up on, and the gun was accurate out of the box after just a quick cleaning.I ran 50 rounds the day I picked it up and can say that it is a fun gun to shoot. I am very pleased with this gun and at $290 its a hellava nice little piece for my collection. As for Buds, can't beat their pricing.

Wow! I am more than pleased with this purchase. Great workmanship, finish and attention to detail on this revolver. Ordered on 12/21, arrived at my ffl on 12/23 despite being listed as undeliverable by Christmas..........super service Buds! At $290.00 I can't imagine a better deal anywhere. Can't wait to get to the range and poke some holes.

I need a more concealable revolver than my .357 magnum, so I ordered this gun because of the price and the 2" barrel. What a great decision! I am almost amazed at the quality of the product, it is more comfortable to hold than the .357, and I think it is more accurate as a double-action because of the smooth and relatively easy trigger pull. If there are any negatives about the gun they would be that it has a single-action hair trigger and I had to paint the front sight red so I could see it better. As usual, Bud's service was top rate.

I ordered this gun on a Tuesday and received it on Thursday. As always Buds shined again. This was an awesome purchase for the price. I was very impressed with the finish and the and grip. I shot 100 rounds right out of the box with no issues. It was accurate with little recoil and a nice trigger pull. I would absolutely recommend this gun.

As always Bud's service was quick and flawless. This Rossi has the look and performance of a much more expensive revolver. The stainless steel is beautiful and the grips feel perfect for my hand. The weapon has functioned great with a variety of ammo. I am very impressed with what you get for the price you pay. I highly recommend the Rossi for anyone looking for a .38 snub nose that looks and performs far better than the price would have you believe. Arthur W.

This revolver shoots flawlessly, there are handguns that cost double this Rossi price, that shoot only as well. I own a model 68 that also performs perfectly. Both are trusted concealed carry weapons.

Wow, this little .38 looks and feels great. You cannot beat Bud's price anywhere here in Va. That the same time I was picking up my weapon someone else was picking up there .38 just like mind from Bud's. Cannot beat the price......

Bought this little revolver for my wife's first ccw, was a little sceptical of Rossi and didn't expect a whole lot considering the low cost. When it arrived we were both immediately impressed with the finish of this gun (SS), it was really well made and felt very comfortable in the hand, even for me at 6' 200lb. We've fired about 50 rounds thru her so far and she handles great! The firing pin did break on me unfortunately but found out later that dry firing these guns is really not recommended. Rossi however sent me a new pin free of charge and were back in business. Great buy! Buds is awesome as always. Thanks!
