Awesome little rifle.

This is a great reproduction of the original. works with both .357 and 38spl. I mostly run 38spl to keep cost down, low recoil and less rapport. Overall I'm very happy with the rifle and would recommend it to any one considering this purchase. However, I don't think the current price is correct.. LOL

The little Rossi M92 is one of my most fun rifles to bring out at our farm range. In 38/357 it is accurate & easy for all to handle & hit with, plus relatively inexpensive to feed. The build & materials quality is good, but the finishes are not. Expect the factory finish on wood & metal to wear through quickly with any field handling(the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars). It loads & feeds flat nose 38 & 357 flawlessly, but expect to loose a little skin once in awhile with that sharp-edged loading gate. The factory sights are fine, but I prefer(& installed) a peep rear & hooded front sight on mine.

Hmmmm, I'm torn on this one. It works and is reasonable accurate. Fit and finish leave a bit to be desired though. Action was not smooth until I did a full trigger/action job on. Now it's much better. Not a fan of the safety so I removed it and replaced it with a screw in skinner aperture sight made just for that purpose. I like it. But it's not on par with my Henry. But It's much less expensive.

I love this weapon. Just like all Rossis, it needed some work on the internals but, replacing three springs turned this gun into an absolute pleasure to shoot. Buds did a great job shipping. I love that my FFL is already loaded into the system and I do not need to do anything but go pick up my gun.

Read a lot of bad reviews on these guns and some good reviews. I must have lucked out. My 357 mag feeds good on both calibers , ejects good, looks just as fine as my Marlin 336, and my Mossberg 464. I,m really pleased with this gun and it shoots very accurate . Its a shame that Winchester has forgotten why the model 94 and 92 was so popular, they were made for the average guy who could afford them. Not many guys like myself can afford to spend 1400 dollars for a gun to sit in the gun case and admire it. Us poor boy,s have to use our guns to hunt with , throw in the truck, and pull up in deer stands. Once again Buds Guns did an excellent job with everything, Thanks

Thanks to the 180 day layaway I purchased this gun and made just got it last week. It is beautiful. The action is smooth and loading is fine. I took it straight to the range and had a blast. This thing is awesome. It shoots great groups out to 50 Yards which is the length of my indoor range. My 15 year old son had a ball too. It is heavy enough that even shooting big 357 mag ammo it doesn't kick much. A great gun at a great price. My only complaint is the wood is wonderful but the finish is a bit uneven. I am thinking about sanding it down and refinishing it myself. But all in all 5 stars.

What a fun rifle! A great plinking rifle. The action is a little rough but I went on youtube and watched some videos and filed it down a bit, now it's smooth as silk. The loading port is also a bit sharp so I rounded some of those corners off. My wife, who isn't all that interested in guns, loves shooting it. I might have to get another, maybe in .44 MAG this time.

Great rifle. smooth action, handles both 38spl & 357 mag well. I did not do any smoothing of the action, & it seems to be fine. Perhaps if i were a competitive shooter i would fine tune it more. The stock is very nice, & it is a good value, imo. I even like the saddle ring for a one point sling.

I just took procession of a Rossi R92 .38/.357mag rifle--everything looks good, actually the QC is better than I expected, the wood/metal fit is very good, better than some of the Marlins recently produced (Rem-Marlins). I will be shooting the R92 this weekend to see how accurate it is. I really wanted to get a Marlin 1894c, but their hard to find and sell at an outrageous price, so I took a chance on a Rossi. They have a mixed review. I bought this particular model because it was on sale, came with the scope-mount base (which sells separately at $39.00), and a rear sight is also included if you don't want to scope the gun. Bud's is a great place to buy, the customer service is very good--I'll be back.

The Rossi Model 92 lever action rifle in .357 Magnum is a good overall value. For the price you get some nice touches like the saddle ring and a scope mount, which I plan to replace with a ghost ring. The action on mine is smoother than my friend's Rossi in the same caliber -- and his is pretty good. But for $469 there are some shortcuts that are made in production. The furniture has no grain to speak of, and is unevenly dyed with three hues -- and too much red for my taste. The loading port has sharp edges and can cut your finger feeding cartridges. Overall bluing is good, deep and even. Finish of wood to metal is fair with some wood proud against the metal. The safety on top of the action is ugly but not too noticeable. I realized going in this is a plinker and shooter, not an heirloom, so, I'm happy.

Buds was Buds, you know, excellent. Best price anywhere on this rifle. I was leery of a Taurus product but I got one of the good guns. This thing is sweet. Cycles flawlessly and is accurate with the fixed sights. Not as nice looking as a Marlin or Winchester but for 469 dollars what do you want? Will be great for Cowboy Action Shooting.

Excellent value for a .357 Magnum lever action rifle. I removed the scope mount and installed the supplied adjustable rear sight for open sight use, which for this gun is sufficient up to 100 yards. The action is smooth, the trigger is a medium pull but pleasant. For $469, it's a real bargain, you could add a nice scope to this if desired for longer range shooting. This is also an excellent addition for people who own some .357 Magnum revolvers, since it shares the same ammo. It will also shoot .38 Special for target shooting
