Very impressed with the finish on this rifle. Matte black finish (not painted like some) is very smooth and uniform. The synthetic stock has a nice finish and a Hogue recoil pad. Howa quality through out. Uses the standard 1500 action, bolt and HACT 2 stage trigger. Haven't shot it yet but I know it will do great. Totally satisfied with rifle and Buds. Ordered Sunday night and delivered Thursday morning. Second time I have ordered from Buds and Great service and products.
