First the cons: the bipod does not pivot; , the chamber had a burr, cost $50 for gunsmith to polish out; trigger would only adjust to 3.5#, replaced with Timney, now 1.75#; stock was very flimsy, replaced with B & C , the brake takes up 1.8" of barrel, so effective barrel length is 20.2" pros: the finished product handles nicely and shoots very well. Staying on a 3" gong at 300 yds. with a 10x scope. I now have approx. $1050 in the rifle, I probably will not purchase another new M700.
