There is beauty in simplicity, and this is a shining example of such. Cleaned the majority of the factory oil and added my own. 100rds down the pipe flawlessly, using a gen 2 and 3 pmag and some older 20rd metal mags. Very satisfied with this firearm!

Quality AR-15 all around. I've put 500rds through it so far and it has been flawless. Comes with a fairly large hard case which is just ok, but a nice addition nonetheless. Wound up using that for a shotgun case. The aluminum magazine included seems to be a standard mil-spec mag. There is a black nylon sling included as well which is functional. The rifle is very high quality and feels solid. no play in the upper / lower fitment and the heat shields work great. The rifle is very balanced but I may put an A2 fixed stock on instead of the collapsible. FWIW, accuracy seems to be around 2 - 3" @ 100yds with the iron sights. I use the cheapest ammo from lucky gunner so it rotates with whatever is on sale but whenever I shoot for groups it tends to be within that range. I'm sure a quality optic would tighten that up as well as a better trigger. But other than maybe an A2 stock... I don't plan to modify it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the rifle and price. My order was also processed very quickly. A pleasure to buy from Bud's as I appreciate their support of the youtube/full30 community.

Solid AR15. Windham has really over engineered their line of guns to make this The Best out of the box experience for the guns I had purchased. This is my first AR. After a review of oil, lube and physical care of this weapon took it to the range to site it in. Dissipator functioned 4.0 and was a bucket of fun. Only 2 minor comments are that it shipped with only 1 magazine and the standard case was a generic long rifle (not range useful or specific to the AR15 size). This will not be my last Windham product. Took a little longer for Bud's to ship but within the 7 business day guidance.(they had spoiled me with 3 day out the door). Price point $350 less than found on other gun sites. You will not find too many manufacturers with a better warranty - Life Time and Transferable if sold/given to another. Quality at a Great Price is a Win- Win.

This is a high quality rifle at a very reasonable price point just like I was looking for. It is a solid lower that I plan to upgrade in years to come. I really like being able to manhandle so far out with the longer handguard. I purchased it believing it was equipped with a mid length gas system. While I was dissappointed that it was not, I'm extremely happy with the groups that I achieved with the rifle length sight radius straight out of the box. A few tweaks of elevation and windage and my Walmart ammo was on point at 100 yrds with 6 shot groups down to 2". With battle sights, it was better than I expected. I love the look of it! Brings back the memories of qualifying expert on the M-16 in Coast Guard boot camp! Semper Paratus!

This rifle was my first purchase from buds, and will not be my last. The rifle was shipped quickly and is above my expectations. The fit and finish are exceptional, no play between thr upper and lower, and if you are in the market for a new ar15 id recommend this one... Windham weaponry has a great rifle here and buds is a great company to buy it through.
