Bought a scope for this, as i didn't realize it didn't come with one. My favorite rifle. Love the mags.

This my 4th gun purchase from Buds already. I like this rifle a lot. It is a good quality peice of equiptment. I have not shot this gun as of today; however, I feel that this rifle is bound together with quality parts of steel and wood. It should be a tack driver as well. I have a Savage 17HMR that is a tack driver as well. I feel that a ruger is a tad better than a Savage; However they are very close. In all, you can't go wrong either way. The 77/22 fits my hand like a glove, another plus. I also like the fact that the clip is in the stock and not hanging out of the stock as well. I was surprised that the rifle came with scope rings. However, I had already ordered a pair after the purchase. The only dislike that I have with this rifle is the ring base built in the receiver. I think that you have to use Ruger scope rings and not any other without an adapter. I favor the Savage for this reason; however, I would buy another 77/22 again.
