  For most of Illinois, yes it is legal, and it does come with the magazine. But if you live in Cook County, Highland Park, the City of Aurora, it is not compliant as it is a semi-auto rifle.   Hodaine, Buds usually does not open/alter new firearms packages including Magazines. I have heard from members that some Customer Service Reps have offered this so I would contact Buds to see whether they will or not at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.

  The 30 round mag makes it illegal in MD the flash hider would be ok because it need to ne one of 2 banned features Semi-automatic centerfire rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have any TWO of the following features: 1. • Q: Watdhed a video that says this models gas chamber is not in plane with the upper that we may have to add a different gas chamber or sights that will accommodate the difference. Firstly is this true, secondly what product would i need?

  Hi Cory, I've seen the same. You would just need spacers to raise the sights.

  It's probably is built somewhat to "mil spec" but this one isn't even close. The barrel material is 4140 1:9 twist and mil spec is 4150 CMV with a 1:7 twist which is much more durable and accurate with the heavier bullets.

  Hi Jason, Prices change with stock levels unfortunetely. Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that
  runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and
  will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers
  go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular
  items get low in stock.

  This rifle is not Douglas. It has too many restricted features such as pistol grip, threaded barrel, muzzle brake and 30rd magazine.
