KIMBER MICRO CRIMSON CARRY 380ACP 6RD - 6 Rounds

It’s a kimber. What else is there to say.

My first trip to the range with my new Kimber Crimson Carry 380 revealed several things. First, this is an extremely accurate firearm! 7 shots in a 1 1/2" group at 7 yds. I started with a FMJ 95 gr. bullet that had a flat nose. I had several failure to feeds with this bullet. I changed to a round ball bullet and this fed flawlessly. Hornady Critical Defense loads also fed well. I'm not sure how it will handle JHP bullets.My hands are large enough that my trigger finger gets in the way of the laser but it fits my wife's hands perfectly. Laser is very bright. Overall this is a well made gun that stands up to Kimber quality. You just need to feed it the right ammo.

This is an excellent weapon, as expected. Excellent balance, preferable to polymer frame. But it sure would be nice if the laser trace were under the barrel / guide rod - the way it can be found on full size items ....

Some things can reflect their quality as soon as you pick them up. This is a good example. All you have to do is pick it up, rack it once and you can tell it is of good quality. Absolutely love this little gun. To be fair, I am relatively new to firearms and only have experience with a few manufacturers. The only thing that annoyed me is Kimbers service deparyment. I ordered an extra recoil spring to have on hand as they recommend changing after 1000 rounds. Instead, I received a part I didn't need for a gun I don't have. The packing sheet even indicated the part I wanted and 3 people signed off on it. Someone should explain to them the difference between a recoil spring and a holster. Called them a week ago and still haven't received the recoil spring. Sure hope this isn't an indication of things to come!

Fit and finish are far better than some other brands. Slide,hammer, safety,etc. all work very smooth. Able to work slide easily even with old arthritic hands, a real plus.
