This shotgun has been given some less than stellar reviews, however the one I received is a pretty dammed good firearm. No problems with cycling the action, everything from trap loads to 00buck no problems. There is only one complaint that I have with this particular shotgun. It is a little finicky on loading the full five rounds. Four rounds , no sweat, five.....well let\'s just say it has automatic unloading option. The fifth round causes the magazine to kick out two or three of the rounds to bypass the shell stop. A problem, yes but not enough to rate the firearm as a bust. Besides, who really needs the fifth round. It sure gets noticed at the range. Everyone wants to check it out and shoot it . Make sure you take some extra rounds. Thanx Bud\'s for a fun shotgun.

PW87 Shotgun was delivered on time and in new condition and covered with a viscous oil that looked like engine oil. These Chinese are serious about lubrication, it seems!! The gun worked exactly as I expected and as I read and saw online from gun owners. It has a very rough action, and takes some getting used to. If it seems like the rounds stuck in the magazine they are not, you just have to rack the action with authority, and load one in the chamber by hand to get the other ones going. The last round seems to stay always on the extractor. Overall, it is a very good replica of the 1887 Winchester shotgun with very nice bluing and steel. If you\'re looking to use it for home defense, I\'d say it\'s possible but you need to practice a lot with it. It is not an easy to use gun and if you\'re not familiar with it enough you can be in trouble. This is more of a fun and cool gun than anything else. This is it\'s philosophy of use. The fun factor with this gun is awesome, it\'s the Terminator gun, what else you need to know? For a little over $300, I say it is definitely worth buying considering all other replicas are nearly 3 times as much money or even more!!

This an amazingly well-built, mechanically sound, unique piece of history. The rolling block action is strong, yet simple, with few parts, and very easy to disassemble. Understanding that the action needs to worked with deliberation to insure positive ejection of shells is about the only "quirk" to this gun. Give it a good cleaning upon unpacking, reassemble, then work the action for "awhile" and notice how it starts to smooth right out! Load it with proper length shells - considering it has a short, rotating action, and empties will clear without a problem as long as the lever is opened swiftly to bring up the lifter/carrier which really does the job of knocking the empty hull clear.
The action is easy to take apart...easier than any "modern" pump design, and has fewer total parts, as well as only THREE major parts not counting the main spring.
Work the action, add a stitched leather cover to the lever to help pad the fingers and this gun can be worked FAST! Don't let ANYONE tell you this "old" design isn't up to duty in the modern world because it sure is. It handles buckshot and slugs with ease while printing to point of aim with nicely distributed patterns from AA trap loads. At any expected "defensive" range, slugs and buck will hit accurately if the shooter holds accurately.
I really LIKE this gun....the wood is real walnut, and all metal is "real steel" plastic and no aluminum. The rolling block action keeps the receiver ultra short, so even with a 20" barrel the OAL is quite compact.
The best part is, the gun is meant to be a shooter...which means it doesn't have to end up as a wall-hanger because of age and being too valuable to shoot. Adding a nice parkerized Duracoat finish to the metal really makes the gun look "mil-spec" while also providing protection to the steel.
I would advise everyone to buy one of these while they last.

I have read mixed reviews on this gun. But considering the next 1887 remake up is over 3 times the price of this. It get's bonus points.
First off. Shipping. No issues. I got a call from my FFL way sooner than I figured I would. Bud's is awesome as far as getting the product to me quick.
Second. As everyone has said, gun was greasy when I got it. Took some time to clean it off.
Now I was expecting to have this sucker show up needing some work. It actually worked great. Had the occasional feed issue. But no ejection issues that I was expecting. Gun is fun to shoot. My only gripe is that I cannot find anyone that sells the pistol grip or the oversized loop lever! I want a Terminator gun! The stalk I can chop myself. But the lever I'd rather just buy!
