You can't just buy a stripped lower receiver in CA and build it into a pistol, because all stripped lowers are transferred as rifles, unless you're somehow exempt. ... Federally an AR-15 lower is "other" since it can become either a rifle, or a pistol, or a Any Other Weapon.

As a California resident, I can assure you that this is 100 percent legal in our state. Just be careful what you do with it, as we have ridiculous laws. Please don’t register your firearms. It was my pleasure to assist you.

This is my second spikes lower. I started with the zombie in fill and loved it so I went with this. Works as you would think from an AR lower. Works with all my uppers including the can cannon 😀. I'm happy with this purchase.

Nicely done. Probably carried the tongue in cheek thing a little too far with the cute little terms on the safety, mostly bought it for the pirate with crossed cutlasses. Pretty cool.
