very light gun and very big bullet (357) equals ALOT of kick for this little gun. That said, if you want a .357 in a very light package, this is it. Surprisingly accurate as well.

Had this pistol for several years now and it is part of my everyday carry essentials. I do not hesitate to put this in my pocket for quick trips as its weight is barely perceptible. While the cost of this firearm is hard to justify, I wanted something distinct that was different, the 360 PD delivers on both accounts. There are less expensive options that will get the job done equally well, so it is ultimately the decision to purchase comes down to personal preference.

This is the PERFECT pocket or backup carry handgun. Ideally suited for warm weather concealment or in a pocket of dress slacks. So light yet very controllable when fired. I particularly like this version over the 340PD (I also own that one) due to the hammer. It does not catch on pockets as might be expected plus the option of using a single-action shot can make a real difference when precision shot are necessary. The 360PD has a red HIVIZ sight which lights up dramatically in even moderate lighting. Yes, it can be a handful with strong 357 magnum rounds, however it was not intended to be a target gun. In a stressful situation, I doubt you would even notice the recoil. Use 38 Special for practice but be sure to run a few 357 mags that you intend to carry so that you know what to expect. Either way, the balance and grip is excellent and perfect for it's intended purpose; deep cover yet effective and reliable self-defense. I love this gun.

Bud's is top notch! Customer service is exceptional! You've earned a regular customer from me.

Great handgun. Gives you the option of .357 powerhouse loads or clam .38 specials. I have an S&W 500 Mag and with fullpower loads in the 360, recoil "FEELS" as much recoil as the 500 Mag ( size vs weight). Takes a while to get used to but accuracy (after shooting about 200 rounds) is excellent, even at 25 yards. I would not recommend 357 loads 100% of the time, I don't care if it is a .357 it is still going to put a stress on the end of the cylinder and the forcing cone. I have a 637-2 (.38 spec +P) and the 360 give a marked increase in recoil, shooting the same ammo in both--guess it's the 1.7 difference in weight (the 637-2 weighs more). Wouldn't think 1.7 oz would make that much difference but it does.. Eyesight is going south so the HIVIZ front sight on the 360 is a blessing. If you're looking for a 2' barrelled S&W, go with the 360, ULTRA lightweight and gives you the flexibility of .357 or .38 ammo (.38 is great when the wife shoots it). Small size and concealability is another plus. You can't go wrong with this one if you buy it!!! Only negative is the price, almost $80.00 bucks is kinda' steep--but considering you can get a 500 Mag for almost the same price, it's not that bad I guess. I coughed up the $$$ for the 637-2, 360 PD, and 500 Mag so I souldn't gripe too much.
