Cannot shoot a full cylinder without it locking up, it\'s progressively difficult to index starting with shot five and by shot seven will not index without forcing the cylinder while pulling the trigger or indexing with a hammer cock while forcing the cylinder.
Sure there is a lifetime warranty but dealing with shipping, waiting, testing upon return.

Too heavy and unbalanced for what it was. Also the 17mag ammo was unreliable - not the gun\'s fault but bad batch of ammo.

Awesome woods gun! I have used it for hunting bushy tails and it cycles flawlessly. Gets dirty quick like all rimfires but it is easy to clean! A+ Service From BUDS!

I've bought 3 of these now because every time I go to the Range I get talked out of it by Folks with Crazy money. If You get a chance to shoot one, You'll understand why that happens. We all know how smoking Hot the round is but when You shoot it from a Revolver like this You get a new appreciation for this caliber and hunting varmints up to the size of Coyotes is a snap, not to mention, more fun than the Law should allow. I've kept this one long enough to hang a Good 3x to 12x Handgun scope on it and now You couldn't by it for a Grand. My Tracker is a tad heavy now but by using the Shooters Stick, that I use with My 460, I can enjoy it all Weekend. I'm amazed by the Triggers that Taurus puts in Their Pistols and this is no exception, You'd think it had a $100 dollar trigger job done to it because it breaks so clean right out of the box. I also bought the .22 long rifle and Magnum versions of this Tracker because I just Love the feel of this model and I know they will still be great Pistols when My Grandson get's them.

Nice balanced handgun. Very Accurate, lots of fun to shoot. No Malfunctions. Now single action pull weight, but a pretty heavy double action pull. All in all a great buy!

This was the best deal!! After looking for one for 2 years, BUDS came through again!! Great looking and feeling! Recoil is so tame. Little round, Big fun! Super fast round, accurate, and a lot cheaper to shoot than 357. (OK not as thrilling, but still worth it). Only negative about 17HMR is it makes a pretty small hole. Better have good eyesight or a scope. :)=

Great gun at a great price. A heavy duty gun that shoots very smooth. All mechanisms are tight and work well. I've used CCI ammo in mine so far, and some of the spent rounds don't slide out easily when unloading, even when the push out mechanism. I don't know if this is because the gun is so tight and not broke in yet or if it's the wrong brand of ammo. I'm going to try Hornady .17 HMR ammo at my next outing at the range.

A really fun and ACCURATE gun to shoot. Very high quality machining and finish. That said, my first one arrived with no rifling in the barrel! Tumbling bullets and high recoil were the symptoms. Can't believe this passed quality Control at Taurus. Must have been made on a Monday! The replacement is perfect and one of my favorite guns. Single action trigger pull is tight and crisp. Double action has a much harder trigger pull but still quite acceptable. The soft, ribbed rubber grips are the most comfortable of any I've shot. I'm going to get the .357 version because I like this gun so much.
